Jeremy and Amber with their friends Jo and DennisThis week Jeff and I headed down south yet again. This time it was for my brother-in-law, Jeremy's, graduation from UCLA. Jeremy recieved his PhD in Near Eastern Cultures and Languages. We are so proud of him! Both Jeremy and his family have worked so hard to get to this place in their lives, and we are so happy for them! The night before his graduation we went out for a celebratory dinner- here are some pictures. Merril and Donna were there too, but for some reason didn't end up in any of my pictures. You'll have to see Amber's blog to see pictures of the actual graduation day- Jeff and I weren't able to stay for the graduation. By the way, Jeremy announced to Amber at dinner that they are going to Maui for a week in December to celebrate- a vacation that is more than deserved!!

I'll have to get that pic of us at dinner. ours came out pretty bad...my eyes were closed.
